Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 June 2026
This policy explains how SHOT (“we”) handles your personal information, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. It is provided in good faith; for binding advice, consult qualified counsel.
What we collect
- Your email address when you create an account or request an emailed Launchpad report.
- Your quiz answers (skills, work history, interests, constraints) and the results we generate from them.
- Optional progress notes you choose to share (“did you try / earn”, “what felt hard”).
- Basic technical data your browser sends to our host when you load the site.
If you use the Launchpad without requesting a report, your answers stay in your browser. When you request the emailed AI income report, your answers and email are sent to us so we can generate and store the private report link.
Why we collect it
- To generate and save your recommendations and let you return to them.
- To improve how we match people to opportunities.
- To process payments if you subscribe (handled by Stripe, our payment processor).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use trusted processors to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Kie.ai for optional AI report generation, and Stripe (payments). Email is sent via Resend. Each processes data only to provide their service.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your information at any time from your account. Deleting your account erases your profile, saved runs, and progress notes, and cancels any active subscription.
